PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The coronavirus pandemic is hitting hospitals hard. Now it's leading to some hospital workers temporarily losing their jobs.
Tower Health is furloughing about 1,000 full-time employees. They include employees who work in support, administrative and technical areas.
Hospital leaders say they've seen a significant decline in revenue because of COVID-19-related costs and a temporary stop to elective services.
