Child Struck By Vehicle In Frankford

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police say an 8-year-old boy is recovering at St. Christopher's Hospital in stable condition after being hit by a car on Saturday.
It happened near the intersection of Bridge and Ditman Streets in Frankford at 1 p.m.
According to authorities, the driver sped off after the hitting the boy. There is no description of the vehicle.
