Boy Rescued After Getting Foot Stuck In Escalator At Oxford Valley Mall

LANGHORNE, Pa. (CBS) -- A boy was rescued Saturday after getting his foot stuck in a mall escalator in Bucks County.

It happened around 4 p.m. at the Oxford Valley Mall in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.

Officials say the boy was extricated from the escalator and taken to St. Mary Medical Center.

The boy was not seriously injured.

It wasn't immediately clear if the boy's clothing got caught in the escalator or if there was some type of mechanical malfunction.
