BLOG: Philly Save and Give Clothing Event Sunday
By Jim Donovan: The Germantown Jewish Centre in Mount Airy is hosting its 6th annual Women's Clothing Give Away this Sunday the 29th. The event usually attracts hundreds of shoppers, literally metric tons of clothes are dropped off (many brands, w/ tags still on), women can take home as many outfits as they want, and it's practically free (they ask for a suggested $20 charity donation, of which 100% goes directly to Women for Women International). Last year the event raised more than $4,500 for the cause.

Drop-offs accepted between now and Friday as well as durring the event
Admission: $20 suggested donation to Women for Women International, a non-profit organization that provides female victims of war in countries around the world with job and rights training.
