BLOG: Free Philly Parking On Saturdays
By Jim Donovan: Just in time for the holiday shopping season, metered on-street parking will be free in Philadelphia every Saturday after 11 a.m. now through January 1, 2011.
According to the Philadelphia Parking Authority, the free metered parking offer applies to all of Philadelphia's commercial business districts, including Rittenhouse Row, Old City, University City, Manayunk, Chestnut Hill, and East Passyunk.
