PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - On today's APP-tastic and outta SITE - AutisMate.
Autisic children don't have a lot of tools to help them communicate. AutisMate, which was created originally for the developer's 10-year old autisic brother, lets children with the disorder improve their social and communication skills through video, pictures and voice recordings.
Using GPS, the app shows users scenes from the current location – like a home or school – to help them adapt.
