As Eagles Sizzle, So Does Their Merchandise

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Eagles are hot, and so is their merchandise this holiday season.

The Eagles say they're having their best merchandising season since 2004, when the Birds went to the Super Bowl.

Eagles fan Bob Hagmann, from Wenonah, NJ, says he'll buy that.

"Personally, I can believe it, because I was gung-ho in 2004," he recalls.  "Bought everything I could.  Slacked off for the past couple of years, but I'm back on board this year."

On Thursday Bob was buying his wife some Eagles gifts at the pro shop at Lincoln Financial Field, where the hot sellers are -- predictably -- Michael Vick and DeSean Jackson jerseys.  They're both in short supply at the Linc pro shop.

Another hot item?  The Eagles toaster (right), which was sold out.

Eagles fan Fran DiBacco of Columbus, NJ (in top photo), agrees that Vick and DeSean are huge right now.

"I wouldn't have believed it in the beginning of the year," Dibacco told KYW Newsradio. "But they're the two most exciting players in football right now.  And they've been on prime time seven or eight times already now.   Every time you watch them -- it's between the one game with Vick  against the Redskins, and this game -- they're games to remember."
