Amtrak Completes Installation Of Positive Train Control System Designed To Prevent Accidents
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Amtrak has finished outfitting its locomotives and tracks with Positive Train Control. The system is designed to prevent accidents by automatically controlling train speed and movement if an operator fails to take the right action.
