Police: Man Shot Dead In North Philadelphia Robbery

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A 21-year-old man is dead following a shooting in North Philadelphia.

Gunshots rang out just after 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of American and West Westmoreland Streets.

Police arrived to find Talik Mansanto suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead shortly after.

Police say a second male victim in his 20's was shot in the back and shot in the chest. He was transported to Temple Hospital.

Investigators say the motive for the shooting is robbery.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man of light complexion, in his 20's, around five feet 11 inches tall and with a muscular build. He last seen wearing a black jacket, dark pants, with his head shaved on the sides and slicked back on the top.

Investigators are hoping surveillance video will provide more information.
