8-Year-Old Gloucester Township Girl Burned After Tripping Onto Hot Fire Pit Bricks
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) - An 8-year-old girl in Gloucester Township was burned after tripping and landing onto hot fire pit bricks. Police say it happened on Camelot Court, around 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
Officials say the girl was treated on the scene for burns to her back and hand.
She was then airlifted to St. Christopher's Hospital in Philadelphia as a precaution, say police.
There is no word on the severity of the burns.
