21-Year-Old Killed In Northeast Philadelphia Crash

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police said speed was a factor in a crash that killed a man and injured another in Northeast Philadelphia on Sunday.

Police were called out to Roosevelt Boulevard near Welsh Road at about 3 p.m. They say a pickup truck carrying three males was speeding when it spun out of control on the boulevard.

Police say a 21-year-old male was ejected from the truck and pronounced dead at the scene.

The other victim, a 19-year-old, was transported to Aria Health Torresdale Hospital in stable condition.

The third male was unharmed.
