1 Dead, Another Injured After Shooting In Camden

CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) - One man is dead and another is injured after a shooting took place at a party in Camden early Sunday morning.

The incident happened near 2nd and Main streets at about 2 a.m. According to authorities, the deceased, 36-year-old Elaido Castro, was shot multiple times while sitting in his Chevrolet Astro van in the 100 block of Vine Street.

A 25-year-old man, whose name has not yet been released, was also shot and is being treated at Cooper University Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

At this time, it is unclear whether the suspect or suspects were attending the party or had any connection with the victims.
