Young man does 22 random acts of kindness for his 22nd birthday

(CBS News) While I promise there will be plenty of music, animal antics and hijinks of all kinds still to come today, I want to take a moment to show something inspiring and uplifting as the weekend approaches. And nothing quite says that more than a series of random acts of kindness. Watch the video above and maybe start thinking of what you can do to make this world a better place.

The 22 random acts of kindness were done by YouTube user Syed Muzamil Hasan Zaidi of LolzStudios for his 22nd birthday. From planting a tree to showing appreciation or assistance to the hard work of many people to providing balloons for children at an orphanage (and just about everything in between), the video really shows that not every gesture need be grand to make a difference and brighten the world or someone's day. Some food for thought people.
