Hi everybody! Thanks for checking out my new blog on CBSNews.com. I hope you get to know me and some of my favorite people a little better by reading this.

My career is driven by a real passion for interviewing, and some of my favorites can be found under "Favorite Video Clips." Also, like a lot of you, I absolutely love pictures — and this blog offers a photo album of sorts. You can find lots of candid shots in "Favorite Photos."

Of course, a lot goes on here that you don't actually see on The Early Show. I'll take you "Behind The Scenes" with bloopers and the inside story.

One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to the heart of who people really are. I've met some incredible people and feature them in "Women Who Inspire Me." I hope they'll inspire you, too.

As many of you know, my job at CBS is superseded by my real job as a mother of three. For a look at what I do after work hours, you can check out what's happening in "Off Camera."

I also write regularly about parenting and family issues for Family Circle magazine. You can read those as well as excerpts from my two books, "Notre Dame Inspirations" and "Go Girl," in "Books & Articles."
