Watch a dad riding a baby carriage speeding down the road at 50 MPH

(CBS News) Sometimes you come across videos on the Internet that have no real rhyme or reason to them, they simply are. This is definitely one of those videos, and one which you really need to see to believe. Watch a dad riding a baby carriage speeding at about 50 MPH in the video above.

It should go without saying (though I'm going to anyways) that no one else should attempt to do this.  The totally bizarre, wild and everything in-between clip was posted by Colin Furze who writes:

This is hopefully going to be the worlds fastest pram on OCTOBER 14TH at avon park drag strip (shakespere county raceway) all i have to do is break 30mph but as you can guess from video that will happen. Im hopeing for around 50mph if i can stay on it.

I decided after becoming a dad i should rock the world of child care so tick that box i think

Just for the nob heads no i havent put a real kid in at speed and no its not road legal hence why i had to film this on a private road.

Well, I suppose that's one way to embrace fatherhood... According to Wikipedia, "Colin Furze is a plumber, stuntman and filmmaker from Stamford, England. He is currently the Guinness World Record holder for the World's Largest Bonfire and World's Longest Motorbike." So it sounds like he's definitely got a little background and experience in this "field" and keeping things relatively safe.  If you'd like to check out more work by Colin Furze, you can visit his website by clicking here.
