Vivica Fox Kicks Off 2011 In Big Way
CBS Vivica A. Fox is kicking off 2011 as a newly engaged woman. And she's not the only one to do that.
The 46-year-old "Kill Bill:Volume 1" and "Independence Day" actress, newly engaged to Atlanta club promoter Omar "Slim" White, 27, is among a host of stars to announce holiday season weddings and engagements.
"My career has been my baby for such a long time and I've done well by that. I waited for God to send me a good man, and he's a good Southern man," she told Wendy Williams on the "The Wendy Williams Show" last month.
Fox confirmed the news on Jan. 4, 2010, telling People magazine that the pair got engaged on Dec. 26. This will be Fox's second marriage. She and singer Christopher Harvest divorced in 2002.
