Be On National TV

(CBS)

If you are in New York City, visit The Early Show plaza from Monday through Friday and join weatherman Dave Price at 8:00 and 8:30 a.m.

So what are you doing at home? Join the fun and be on national TV. Price will make it an experience hard to forget.

"Let never be said that I'm not in the spirit of St. Patrick's Day," Price told the crowd a day early. He also danced and tipped his hat to the kids from the School of Irish Dancing in New York City, who came in full Irish garb.

On the actual day, The Early Show celebrated with one of Ireland's best chefs, Darina Allen. Click here to check out her recipes.

On March 2, Phil Keoghan, host of CBS's two-time Emmy Award-winning reality series "The Amazing Race," started his 10-city, cross-country tour from our plaza. He is promoting the 7th edition of the show and casting for "The Amazing Race 8."

"We are looking for families," he told Price, and noted "We go to Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit, St. Louis, Kansas City, Denver, Albuquerque, Phoenix and we arrive in Los Angeles where we'll be on 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson' on Monday, March 14.

What does he look for in a future contestant?

"I think it has to be inherently interesting just like you are, Dave," Keoghan tells Price. So there you have it. Go to CBS.com to find out more.

February was an exciting month for The Early Show, as well, with visits from reality show, "Survivor: Palau," castoffs to artists like Christo and his wife Jeanne-Claude talking about their New York City Central Park project, "The Gates."

And Kathleen Patton was the winner of the Dave in Primetime Challenge contest. She chose some place out west to do the weather with Price. Yes! The Early Show is about making dreams come true, with such series as "Week of Wishes."
