Copier on the fritz? Photocopier turns your flatbed or sheetfed scanner into a surrogate copier. This nifty little program automatically detects your scanner and printer, then presents a simple, attractive interface for makin' copies.

The freeware version of Photocopier offers only basic copy options, including multiple copies, brightness adjustments, and scaling: 70% or 100% (nothing in between). The $30 Pro version adds features like adjustable scaling, copy preview, duplex scanning, and so on.

I know a lot of scanners come with their own copy programs, and anyone who has a multifunction printer obviously doesn't need a tool like this. But it scores points for looking really cool, making an old scanner useful again, and simplifying an important office task. [via Inspect My Gadget]
