Trump, Marla In Pre-Nup Tussle

Developer Donald Trump, estranged wife Marla Maples and their legal teams appeared in court Thursday to discuss their pre-nuptial agreement.

Maples reportedly wants to up the ante on the $2.5 million deal she signed before she and Trump wed on Dec. 20, 1993. The couple, who split up last year, have a daughter, Tiffany.

"It's just totally iron clad," Trump said of the agreement before entering into the closed court session.

Trump's lawyers, Stanford Lotwin and Jay Goldberg, said Maples would be better off abiding by the pre-nuptial agreement and warned she could wind up with less if she keeps trying to break it.

"When Marla loses this, she's going to be responsible for all these (attorney's) fees," said Lotwin.

Maples said nothing as she entered and exited the courtroom.

Asked how it went during the two hours of talks in the Manhattan State Supreme Court, Trump said only, "Just fine," as he left the courthouse.
