Travel Agency Owner in N.Y. Arrested for "Tricks" of the Trade in Far East

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (CBS/AP) To hear authorities tell it, Douglas Allen of Poughkeepsie, N.Y. runs a travel company that's not the best place to book if you're planning a family vacation.

The Westchester County district attorney said Monday that the 66-year-old Allen was arrested in a sting, because his company that specializes in trips to Thailand and the Philippines has been promoting prostitution.

An online investigator pretended that he wanted to use Allen's company, Big Apple Oriental Tours, to go overseas and have sex for money. The district attorney's office said the investigator paid Allen $2,500.

Allen allegedly told the investigator he would be taken to Angeles City in the Philippines, where he could negotiate with women for sex acts.

If convicted, Allen faces to up to seven years in prison.
