While sales pros sometimes crop up in cartoons, they generally play a bit part. Here are five short videos -- mostly by amateur studios -- that feature sales pros in a leading role. I have no idea where this video came from, but I think it might have been some kind of reverse-psychology promotional piece for the DeLorean car. The sound is a little out of sync but, let's face it, few cartoon characters have the comedic oomph of the great Daffy Duck.

This promotional video for a sales training cartoon starts bland, but quickly goes over the top, parodying the internal dialog of selling -- one of the sales pro's worst enemies.

Finally, a video that, in my view, rivals the best from today's professional studios. While it recycles the obsolete theme of the door-to-door salesman (a long extinct breed), it does manage to capture some of the energy that a novice sales pro brings to the job. Nicely surreal, too.
