Tony Romo and Candice Crawford welcome baby boy
(CBS News) Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and his wife Candice Crawford welcomed their first child on Monday, his NFL teammates confirmed on Twitter.
"Congratulations to Tony Romo, proud papa of Hawkins Crawford Romo, born yesterday at 5:30pm. 8lbs 8 oz," the Dallas Cowboys Twitter read.
The new mom is actor Chance Crawford's sister. The "Gossip Girl" actor told Us Weekly weeks before that Romo was "over-the-moon excited" about his wife's pregnancy.
Romo, 31, and Crawford, 25, got married in May 2011 and announced the pregnancy in October.
