To Raise Money, Romney's PAC Offers Fenway Visit With Romney Son

5062173Mitt Romney's political action committee, Free and Strong America, announced a "mini-essay contest"/fundraiser on Wednesday. The top prize? The opportunity to take in a Red Sox game with Romney's son Tagg.

The winner of the contest will win an all-expenses-paid trip for two to sit with Tagg "in the Romney family seats" at the July 8th game. There's also a prize for four runners-up: A baseball personally signed by the once-and-possible future Republican presidential candidate himself.

Tagg Romney thanked supporters in an e-mail announcing the content sent to members of the PAC.

"This movement isn't about my dad or any one candidate that we're supporting," Tagg wrote. "It's about you. And we want to hear what these ideals mean to you."

One can only win the prize by donating $50 or more to Free and Strong America and submitting a 250-word essay on the topic of "What does a free and strong America mean to you." The five best essays will be featured on the PAC's Web site.
