"The Wizard of Oz" celebrates 75 years at the Oscars

"The Wizard of Oz" received a special tribute at the Oscars Sunday night to coincide with its 75th anniversary -- complete with footage from the film, a surprise performance by Pink -- and yes, ruby slippers, too.

Whoopi Goldberg -- donning ruby-colored shoes -- made a special onstage dedication to the 1939 classic movie before introducing the Judy Garland's children. Liza Minnelli, Joey Luft and Lorna Luft were all in the audience to honor their late mother and star of the film.

Pink, sporting a red sparkly dress, then launched into "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" while footage of Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Scarecrow and the Cowardly Lion played in the background.

To top it off, the night's host Ellen DeGeneres hit the stage in a pink dress reminiscent of Glinda the Good Witch.
