"The Office" Dedicates An Episode to "Glee"

NEW YORK (CBS) Things around "The Office" are about to get a bit more "Glee"-ful.

An upcoming episode of the NBC comedy will be dedicated to the staff of Dunder Mifflin getting together to watch the hit Fox series.

But don't expect Sue Sylvester to show up and wreak havoc on the Scranton office - Entertainment Weekly reports that no "Glee" actors will actually appear in the episode.

"Office" executive producer and co-star Paul Lieberstein, who plays Toby on the show, told zap2it that Gabe (Zach Woods) will host the "Glee" party, but the event will be mostly thrown by Erin (Ellie Kemper), who would like the office - and Michael Scott (Steve Carell), in particular - to like Gabe more.

"She thinks this will make him a little more popular if he hosts the party," Lieberstein said.

So who's the biggest Gleek? Lieberstein reveals it's probably Kelly (Mindy Kaling).

"Although she claims to hate the show, she knows everything about it," he said. "And Oscar (Oscar Nunez) feels like everyone should stop assuming he's a big Gleek because he's gay."

As for why "Glee" was chosen, Lieberstein told the website it was because "it's not just a popular show, but a phenomenon, you know? And when we had the idea to do a viewing party, it felt like there was no substitute.

"We watch a lot of TV, we watch 'Glee.' We like it. ... I don't know - someone said the words '"Glee" viewing party,' and it just made us laugh so hard that we had to do it."
