The Muppets are back! A few days ago the sneaky trailer for the new Muppets movie, Green with Envy, was released online and, as of yesterday, has taken Twitter and YouTube by storm. Disguised as a stock romantic comedy starring Jason Segel and Amy Adams, the trailer takes an unexpected twist when Kermit and Miss Piggy arrive in the cast list, prompting Segel to ask, "Whoah, whoah, whoah. Are there Muppets in this movie?" To which Kermit replies in a particularly Kermity voice, "Yup, yup."
The video has received over 400,000 views already on YouTube and is trending on the site.
Supreme Court comes down on California Yesterday, in a 5-4 vote, the US Supreme Court ruled that California must reduce inmate population by 30,000 in order to improve conditions of the state prison system. Many shared the news yesterday by linking articles or tweeting commentary.

Saudi Woman arrested for driving Thirty-two-year-old Manal al-Sherif was arrested after driving in Saudi Arabia early Sunday for "violating public order," CBS News reports. Manal al-Sherif has been organizing on Facebook with other Saudi women in an attempt to end the ban preventing women from driving. A page entitled, "Teach us how to drive so I can protect myself," was created a few weeks ago and gained over 12,000 supporters before it was removed.
