Teen Choice Awards 2013: Fashion trends and looks
There were no ball gowns at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles -- just a lot of fashion-forward and fun outfits that ranged from shorts to cropped tops and matching pants and top combos.
Stars sported lace and all sorts of patterns on the teal carpet. Colors ran the gamut, too, with Gabby Douglas sporting bright yellow, Jordin Sparks donning a blue and white striped dress, and actress Katie Cassidy opting for a bright pink lace number.
Selena Gomez shined in her green Cushnie et Ochs dress, while co-host Lucy Hale arrived on trend with her Houghton cropped top and skirt and Stuart Weitzman shoes. Newly-single actress Nina Dobrev, meanwhile, stepped out in J. Mendel top and pants, paired with Dolce & Gabbana shoes.
And talk about fun -- actress Rebel Wilson donned a wetsuit to go along with the Teen Choice Awards' surfboard trophies. She later accepted one of those surfboards onstage -- wetsuit and all -- for her role in "Pitch Perfect."
