TCU Student Found Dead

FORT WORTH, Texas (CBS/AP) UPDATE 3:17 PM: Police say the body of a female 20-year-old TCU student was discovered Monday night by her roommate at their off-campus residence.

Originally, the Associated Press reported that the Texas Christian University student's body was found partially bound with duct tape. Police are now refuting that report.

Sgt. Chad Mahaffey says the case does not appear to be a criminal assault, nor is it a homicide, but the investigation continues.

The woman's name was not immediately released. An autopsy has been ordered.

A statement from the Texas Christian University says counseling will be available to students.
