Taylor Swift, Shania Twain to open CMT Music Awards

(CBS/AP) Shania Twain is teaming up with Taylor Swift for her first appearance at the CMT Music awards in seven years.

The two country music stars will be recreating a scene from the hit 1991 film "Thelma & Louise" for the opening segment of the award show, which airs Wednesday night on CMT Country Music TV.

This year's nominations are led by Jason Aldean, who nabbed four for his video "My Kinda Party," including video of the year and male video of the year.

Other nominees include rock group Staind frontman Aaron Lewis, gothic folk duo The Civil Wars and a collaboration between second-year host Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow.

Actor Gary Busey, "American Idol" champ Scotty McCreery, actresses Sara Evans and Kristen Chenoweth, "Dancing with the Stars" winner Hines Ward, and Justin Bieber, who earned a nod for his collaboration with Rascal Flatts on "That Should Be Me," are all included in the presenter's lineup.

There will also be performances by Aldean, Crow, Lady Antebellum, Zac Brown Band, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban and more
