Sweet Leaf Tea recalling 1.5 million glass bottles

The Sweet Leaf Tea Company is voluntarily recalling 1.5 million teas in 16-ounce glass bottles due to the possibility of glass fragments.

The company, owned by Nestlé Waters North America, released a statement saying it was acting out of "an abundance of caution."

The recall affects six flavors of tea, including raspberry, half and half lemonade tea, original, green tea with citrus, peach, and mint and honey. The products were distributed between February 27, 2015 and December 6, 2015.

According to the statement, the concern stems from glass breakage during the filling process. If ingested, the glass could potentially cause cuts or injuries. The company received four complaints of glass in the product, though no injuries have been reported.

Below is the full list of the affected products, along with manufacture codes and bottle labels. The company said the manufacturing code can be found on the shoulder of a bottle or on the shipping case.
