Survivor: Cook Islands
Well, it's almost time for "Survivor" to crown its winner, but first one more gets the boot.
Tonight starts with Parvarti and Adam thanking their lucky stars it was Jonathan voted out last week and not them. They are in full gear trying to find a way to stick around longer.
Reward challenge time! It's a good old fashioned mud challenge and the survivors must carry mud on their body back to a bucket. The one with the most mud in their bucket wins a spa reward. They get to spend the night, eat, wash up, etc. Plus they get to exile someone and the second and third runner up get to join them on the reward. They can carry mud everywhere but in their hands. (I would be putting mud in my bikini and in my hair; girls may have an advantage here, if you know what I mean.)
But with Ozzy around it's tough to win anything — he puts mud on the back on his neck and walks slowly to the bucket. This guy is smart. Ozzy has 45 pounds of mud and is the winner. The first runner up is Yul, and second is Parvarti. Ozzy exiles Adam — no real surprise there. Ozzy is not going to send someone from his alliance. So, those three spend some spa time together.
Back at camp, Sundra and Becky question if they should get rid of Ozzy because he is unbeatable at the challenges. He is a threat, and it's about time they notice — but I saw that from the start.
Adam is enjoying a raw bar on exile and a serious rainstorm. I felt for him. Sitting in the rain and cold for hours can really take its toll on you.
After the spa reward, Yul comes back to camp and immediately Becky takes Yul aside and tells him how she wants to get rid of Ozzy. Yul agrees, but is it possible with him winning so many challenges? Also there is some concern that Parvarti's flirting with Ozzy may cause him to defect with the Aitu group. Plus, Parvarti has done well on the challenges and she is now a threat to them, too. So, it's Ozzy or Parvarti, which one will they choose?
Immunity time. The survivor must carry four bundles of puzzle pieces across a balance beam. They must then create a table maze out of it and use the maze to move a cannonball into the corner pockets. Shockingly, Ozzy excels over the balance beam and Becky takes a heck of a fall on the beam that makes me wince at home. I have to say that this is almost becoming unreal how good Ozzy is at these challenges. It's not even a competition anymore. He wins AGAIN. Well deserved, I have to say.
Back at camp, it seems like Yul is developing a "godfather" complex. Parvarti and Adam both go to Yul to beg to stay. On the other hand, Parvarti and Adam are trying to work Ozzy to see if it's possible he would flip. Ozzy feels he is last on the totem pole with Aitu, so this may be his chance to change up his position — although I think that would be a bad idea for him at this point.
Tribal council time. Yul brings back Jonathan's hat so he seems to be very happy. Looks to me like Yul is fishing for jury votes. They talk a bit about the hat (useless info here) and about how Parvarti got to spend some quality time with the boys. The votes are cast and Parvarti is voted out tonight. Boo. I really liked her, but I think she was voted out because they feared her, which is not a bad way to go out.
Finale on Sunday. I can't wait!
