(CBS) - Are you ready for some football? How about some face time with the New York Giants? The football team is getting social with fans Thursday.
The Giants announced today it will take part of a Google+ Hangout session, where 20 fans will be able to participate in a live video chat with Victor Cruz, Corey Webster, Mark Herzlich and Henry Hynoski. The team will randomly select fans for the Google+ Hangout Wednesday, Feb. 1 - today!
In order to be up for selection, you must add the Giants to your Google+ circles. If selected, you'll be notified Thursday morning.
If you don't get selected, you still have a chance to ask the "Gmen" questions. The Giants are also hosting a webcast, which will pull questions from Twitter, Facebook and Google+. The Twitter hashtags for the webcast are as follows:
Jake Ballard: #askBallard
Steve Weatherford: #askSteve
Tyle Sash: #askSash
Prince Amukamara: #askPrince
Google+ is a social network available to anyone with a Google account. Once activated, you can set up a profile and add friends or, say, football teams to your Circles. Hangouts is a feature that lets you video chat with up to 10 people at a time in multiple locations.
The Giants social media night live broadcast takes place Thursday, February 2 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Giants.com/NYGsocial.
