Steve Jobs: Tribute to Living a Life of Passion

There are a handful of things that I find so inspiring that I save them, tack them on the wall, and re-read them, year after year. Among this group of precious, inspirational thoughts from the likes of John Wooden, Mother Teresa and Martin Luther King, is the speech that Steven Jobs gave to Stanford's 2005 graduating class.

It talks about life and death and following your dreams -- even when the world tells you not to. It talks about dropping out of college, his tumultuous career at Apple, and how getting fired led him to start Pixar and Next. It's a tribute to living a life of passion.

I can think of no greater tribute to what I admire most about Steven Jobs than to share his own words with you.
