STAMFORD, Conn. (CBS/AP) Spider-Man, Captain America, and Poison Ivy all have some real-world legal troubles following a brawl early Halloween morning in Connecticut.

Police in Stamford said officers found 25-year-old Michael Sanchez - dressed as Captain America - beating the father of 21-year-old Vincent DeCarlo - who was clad in a Spider-Man costume.

The Stamford Advocate reported that DeCarlo, aka Spider-Man, allegedly punched Sanchez, aka Captain America, as police tried to break up the scuffle.

The superhero smashup took place in a parking garage.

Police said that DeCarlo's girlfriend, 18-year-old Nicole Bitterli of Toms River, N.J. -- who was dressed as Batman nemesis Poison Ivy -- also got into the fray, and hit Sanchez.

DeCarlo and Sanchez face assault charges. Bitterli is charged with breach of peace.

No word whether the suspects have lawyers in suits and ties.
