Sister-in-law Slams Beresford-Redman in Court

The sisters of the slain wife of a reality television producer sought in Mexico for her killing faced off with their brother-in-law for the first time Friday.

The sisters, Jeane and Carla Burgos, each shouted at Bruce Beresford-Redman at the end a court hearing on competing petitions to administer the dead woman's estate.

"How could you do that to my sister," Jeane Burgos shouted first at Beresford-Redman. He looked at her but did not respond.

Carla Burgos then shouted, "Divine justice is going to get you!"

Beresford-Redman and his father, David, who were not represented in the probate court by an attorney, turned and walked away.

An arrest warrant was issued last month for Bruce Beresford-Redman in connection with his wife's killing. Monica Beresford-Redman's body was found in a sewer at a swank resort in Cancun, Mexico, in April.

He returned to Los Angeles before the warrant was issued and Mexican authorities have begun the extradition process. He has said he is innocent.

The former "Survivor" producer and co-creator of "Pimp My Ride" testified briefly about a 2008 will he and his wife drafted before taking a trip to Australia. That document changed the selected administrator of their estate and guardian of their children from an earlier will, which nominated Carla Burgos as guardian.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff made no ruling Friday about the validity of either will, delaying a decision until a June 29 hearing. He also did not act on a request by Bruce Beresford-Redman to determine that some property the couple owned now belonged to him.
