Seventh-graders hospitalized after eating pot brownies

COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA Students at an Orange County middle school were hospitalized Wednesday after eating pot brownies.

Five seventh-graders went to the school's nurse, complaining of stomach aches, reports CBS Los Angeles.

Other classmates at TeWinkle Intermediate School in Costa Mesa confessed the students had eaten brownies laced with marijuana.

Three students were taken to hospital as a precaution, two went home with their parents.

A 12-year-old student was later arrested and booked for bringing the brownie to school.

He was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
