Self-published erotic hit "Anything He Wants" signed by St. Martin's

(CBS/AP) NEW YORK - Call it the "50 Shades of Grey" effect: Another self-published erotic hit has been picked up by a major publisher.

St. Martin's Press announced Tuesday that it had acquired Sara Fawkes' "Anything He Wants (Dominated by the Billionaire)," which has appeared on the best-seller lists of Amazon.com and USA Today since the first of five planned e-installments came out in May.

St. Martin's will release the fifth volume in September, and then issue all five books in print and electronically in November.

The plot might ring a bell for "50 Shades" fans: The sexed-up adventures of a billionaire CEO and an office temp.

"50 Shades of Grey" was originally self-published by E.L. James and has sold millions of copies since being acquired by Vintage Books in the spring. Universal Pictures and Focus Features announced in March that they had acquired the screen rights to the novel.
