Authorities released security camera footage showing the moments leading up to a deadly explosion at a supermarket in Colombia earlier this week.
Four people were killed and 10 people were injured Tuesday in the city of Quibdo, about 200 miles northwest of the capital of Bogota, after an unidentified individual left a bag containing an explosive device on a counter.
Public Defender Luis Enrique Abadia condemned the attack.
"An explosion occurred in the Mercames supermarket on highway three in the city of Quibdo, which we regret, and profoundly reject," said Abadia.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, with some speculation that the attack may have been motivated by an extortion attempt.
