Santa Claus Robs Nashville Bank, Getaway Doesn't Include Sleigh

NASHVILLE (CBS/AP) 'Twas three nights before Christmas and Santa was dressed all in fur from head to foot, but this old St. Nick was actually no saint. He was a bank robber.

According to Metropolitan Nashville Police, a man wearing a Santa Claus suit — including hat, beard and moustache — and dark sunglasses, robbed a SunTrust Bank on Tuesday morning, demanding money from the teller at gunpoint.

After the teller complied, the fake jolly old elf, gun in hand, fled in a gray midsize car -- no sleigh in sight.
