The New York Enterprise Report, a publication aimed at helping small businesses grow, has singled out Geoffrey James's Insight blog, Sales Machine. In the article, "Five Blogs That Can Help Your Sales," Nigel Edelshain says: "This is a serious blog with a new post published every day. It covers all the elements of sales with an interesting bias on psychological issues of selling--"
That pretty much sums it up, except perhaps for the word "serious." While James does treat serious sales issues he usually manages to do so with a wicked sense of humor and a challenging, and often contrarian, point of view. Even if you're not in sales, James is worth the read. He rarely fails to entertain often enlivens, and sometimes enrages.
