"Red 2" stars back in action for sequel

Willis, Mirren, Hopkins, Parker talk "Red 2" 01:56

Bruce Willis is doing what he does best in "Red 2"-- blowing up the bad guys while delivering witty one-liners.

The "Die Hard" star returns as the leader of a group of Retired Extremely Dangerous agents who go on a mission to track down a mysterious villain armed with a very dangerous new weapon.

Released in 2010, the first "Red" film turned out to be a huge success at the box office, pulling in almost $200 million against a $60 million budget. Willis and his co-stars from the first film -- Helen Mirren, John Malkovich, Brian Cox and Mary-Louise Parker -- couldn't resist the chance to come back for a sequel.

"Silence of the Lambs" star Anthony Hopkins joins the franchise as a once-brilliant but now ailing scientist named Bailey. The actor told CBSNews.com that Willis and the rest of his co-stars made him feel right at home.

"They said, 'Hey, come in, welcome.'...They made me feel very calm," Hopkins said. "I couldn't wait to get to work in the morning."

"Red 2" will be released on July 19.
