President Obama's Schedule Today
President Obama today will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing, the Economic Daily Briefing, and meet with the Vice President in the Oval Office.
Mr. Obama will later meet with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Senator Max Baucus in the Oval Office. He will also have lunch with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The president will then travel to the Department of Education, where he will deliver remarks on education. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will also attend.
Later, Mr. Obama will sign a proclamation celebrating the 19th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. He will also announce that the U.S. will sign UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Secretary of State Clinton will introduce the president.
In the evening, the president and the first lady will attend the Marine Corps Evening Parade at the Marine Barracks in Washington, DC. Here is more from the White House press office (all times Eastern):
