President Obama's Schedule Today (1/6/10)

In the morning, President Obama and Vice President Biden will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing and the Economic Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. Later, the president will meet with senior advisers in the Oval Office.

In the afternoon, Mr. Obama will honor educators in the East Room for awards received for excellence in mathematics and science teaching and mentoring as part of his "Educate to Innovate" campaign.

Later, he will meet with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Committee Chairs in the Cabinet Room. Expected attendees include:

Rep. Charlie Rangel, Ways and Means Chairman
