President Obama's Schedule Today

President Obama will announce today 600,000 new jobs this summer through an accelerated spending of the $787 stimulus package. He will make his announcement during a Cabinet meeting to talk about Recovery Act implementation.

Earlier, he will receive the daily and economic briefings and meet with senior advisers in the Oval Office. Here is more from the White House press office (all times eastern):
