President Obama's Schedule Today

In the morning on President Obama's 48th birthday, he and Vice President Joe Biden will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing and the Economic Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. The president will then meet with senior advisers

Later, Mr. Obbama will meet with National Commander of the American Legion Dave Rehbein.

Mr. Obama and Biden will have lunch with the Senate Democratic Caucus in the State Dining Room. In the afternoon, Mr. Obama will have a meeting with Biden in the Oval Office. The president will also meet with Secretary of Defense Robert Gates.
