President Obama's Schedule Today

In the morning, President Obama will receive his daily briefings and then go to George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., to mark the implementation of the Post-9/11 GI Bill. He will be joined by Vice President Joe Biden, Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki, Senator Jim Webb, former Senator John Warner and other administration officials.

After returning to the White House, Mr. Obama will meet one-on-one with His Highness Shaykh Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, in the Oval Office. Mr. Obama and Biden will then have lunch with the Amir in the Old Family Dining Room.

In the afternoon, Mr. Obama will meet with senior advisers in the Oval Office. He will then meet with Senator Tom Harkin.
