President Obama Schedule Today

President Obama will deliver remarks on the American automotive industry this morning after General Motors officially announced bankruptcy.

Earlier in the day he will receive his daily and economic briefing and meet with senior advisers in the Oval Office.

This afternoon, the president will visit the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

Later in the afternoon, President Obama will meet with National Economic Council staff in the Roosevelt Room. Here is more from the White House press office (all times Eastern):
