Police Interrogation: Did a Nurse Burn Her Husband Alive?

INTRODUCTION
Morgantown, W.Va. - November 2005

Firemen discovered James Michael's charred body in his bed after putting out a fire in his home. Because police felt his wife, Michelle, acted suspiciously uncaring at the time, they brought her in for questioning.

CONCLUSION
The autopsy showed that James Michael died from a lethal dose of rocuronium, a drug used by nurses like Michelle to paralyze patients' muscles. An eyewitness and surveillance video showed that she had time to light the fire and kill her husband on a break from work. Michelle was sentenced to life in prison with a chance for parole in 2027.
