Peter Krause
Peter Krause played the lead on the HBO drama "Six Feet Under" from its premiere in 2001 until its final season in 2006. He is nominated for Best Actor In A Dramatic series for the role.
Krause was born in Alexandra, Minn. He caught the acting bug in college and moved to New York to do graduate studies in theater at New York University.
He made his television debut as a regular on Carol Burnett's variety show "Carol and Company" and later appeared on "Cybill" and "Sports Night."
Krause is currently filming the Sci-Fi Channel miniseries "The Lost Room."
