Peter Jackson presents 10-minute video of the start of production for "The Hobbit"

(CBS) - Are you a fan of the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy? Do you fiend to see more of the Precious? Do you even know what I'm talking about? If not, go ahead and move on past this post, but if you do (and I know you all do) then you will definitely dig this 10-minute video that Peter Jackson has put out showing early production on "The Hobbit."

Stunning locations, amazing costumes AND - wait for it - a first look at key cast members actually on the set of the film!  Unfortunately for us, "it cannot be seen, cannot be felt, cannot be heard, cannot be smelt." At least until December of 2012 when "The Hobbit" is slated to be released in theaters nationwide. Such a very long time to wait for the Precious...
